I guess that is as good as a title as anything else I will come up with today. Welcome to my new blog. I have a few, but hey who doesn't? This one will be about me ranting at things. I thought about writing Mad Man but that sounded pretentious. And I don't want to so soon. Don't worry it's coming.
So here I sit wearing my Dollywood shirt trying to look cool. I am not cool just in case you were wondering. I actually don't have that much going for me except the fact that I live in China. That is my shtick. I live overseas. Without that I would just be the guy in the video store sneaking back into the porno stacks. Overseas I am a superstar though. Fucking eh!
China is what it is. Pollluted? Check. Crowded? Check. Lots of good food? Check. Lots of young nubile women who want to ride me for what's in my wallet? Check, check and check mate. As you will discover I try to protect my wallet. China's okay. I wish I were back in the desert though since it doesn't do much in Shanghai except be cloudy and then rain. Sometimes it will even rain without clouds. (It's a government secret.)
I live behind the Great Bamboo Wall of Secrecy. I carry pictures of Chairman Mao wherever I go. Here that is called money. I am not sure how much I like money and mass murderers going together, but hey it's just me. We have Andrew Jackson on our money and he was some kind of asshole. (We make up for it by putting Lincoln on practically everything else.)
So like most 44 year old single guys I want to be a film maker. Unlike most others though I am doing something about it. I am going to take a film course this summer. That is why I am so mod. Then I will come back to China and undermine the film industry by continuing my love affair with video piracy. I am just like a Somali, except I have a master's degree. So I am going to spend a lot of money on getting skills in an industry I am helping to destroy. What kind of movies do I want to make? I am mostly interested in sequels. I love the number two and three and saying the further adventures.
